data the largest demographic for veteran dying by suicide is in Florida is 55-74
(36.1) and 75 and older (37.8). Both are higher than national average.  

Veterans Counseling Veterans is hosting a Serving Our Elderly Veterans Conference on 24 Aug at the
Egypt Shriner Club at 5017 East Washington street, Tampa FL

The purpose for the conference is to Educate, Connect and Empower the veterans on the resources available that support our Elderly Veterans.

This conference will bring together stakeholders involved in caring for our aging Veterans.

The goal is to increase Community Awareness and Understanding in caring for our aging Veterans. 

Who should be at this conference: Veterans, family members
of Veterans, anyone that provides services to elderly Veterans, professionals,
Veteran Advocates, Veteran Service Organizations.
