Mental Wellness Program
Military & Veterans Family Mental Wellness Program
Our Mission
The Mission of the Military & Veterans Family Mental Wellness Program is to strengthen, support, and sustain the psychological health and resilience of military service members, veterans, and their families across all stages of life.
We are committed to preventing suicide, reducing isolation, and addressing the unique mental health challenges faced by military-connected families — including those impacted by combat stress, Military Sexual Trauma (MST), caregiving burdens, aging-related mental health concerns, and service-connected disabilities.
As a veteran-led initiative, we honor the lived experiences of those who served and those who stand beside them. Our mission is rooted in compassion, cultural competence, and a belief that family wellness is foundational to veteran wellness.
Supporting the Veteran. Strengthening the Family. Caring for Every Generation.
Military service affects the entire family. Deployments, reintegration, caregiving, frequent transitions, relationship stress, behavioral health concerns, and the challenges of civilian life can place tremendous pressure on veterans, service members, spouses, children, and caregivers.
Veterans Counseling Veterans connects military and veteran families with trusted resources, supportive communities, educational programs, and qualified professionals who understand military culture.

Our Family-Centered Approach
We recognize that the wellness of the veteran and the wellness of the family are closely connected. Our program uses a military-informed, trauma-informed, and family-centered approach that respects each family’s experiences, strengths, culture, and personal circumstances.
We support the entire family—not only during a crisis, but throughout the military and veteran journey.
