As a Florida-based, veteran-led nonprofit, Veterans Counseling Veterans Serving Our Elderly Program aligns with the mission of the Alzheimer Advisory Council.

Veterans Counseling Veterans’ Serving Our Elderly Veterans program provide support for veterans impacted by Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia — it’s encouraging to see strong representation from our state at the national level.

Florida is home to one of the largest veteran populations in the country.

In communities like Pinellas County, Hillsborough County, Pascoe, Polk and Orange Counties and across the state, we see firsthand how critical federal leadership and informed policy decisions are — especially as our veteran population ages and faces increasing cognitive health challenges.

Having leaders who understand the unique needs of our veteran communities creates meaningful opportunities for collaboration, insight, and impact.
