VCV initiated an effort to address the Adverse Effect VA’s and TRICARE’s CACREP requirement for all Licensed Mental Health Counselors and Providers.

• Over 70 percent military veterans will not be able to work for VA because of this requirement
•  Five of Largest Army Installations ‘s Education Centers has only one CACREP accredited institution in Clinical Mental Health (University of Maryland and Harvard are not CACREP accredited)
• Veterans and their family members will be victimized by this requirement and unable to serve their fellow veterans
